Well Jo, (any maybe other friends as well!) You asked and now I write!
The title of my blog is "Sangrey M-O-M" because 2 weeks ago at the library at Calvary Church, we were checking out books to borrow and I told my sweet girl to tell the librarian my name.
She walks over and spells "s-a-n-g-r-e-y". Librarian says,"good, how do you spell your mom's name? " M-o-m" She spells!
Ah haha librarian, sweet older woman laughs out loud and of course my girl isn't impressed that she is getting "laughed at"...so herein again, I do my best to smooth it over and make it a "sweet" thing instead of a "mistake".
I've heard that, "YOU must be an advocate for your own child. No one else will be." Already I know the truth in it. Her tender heart is clearly known best by her creator and then I am next in line. What a privledge to know a little heart and mind so well and have the opportunity to mold it for God's glory!
Anyway, I plan for this blog to include smiles from our dear kids, insights from my heart that the Lord teaches me, recipes and deals I learn about and just need to share! Thanks for being along for the ride!
Next project: applesauce day with my BF! Tomorrow I need to call around and find the best price for apples!
